that’s a question I ask myself a lot tonight. the reason I ask this is because today I was playing with Julius. he started acting strange, nudging me with his paw and whining. thinking he needed to go out, I took him outside and let him go. however, he refused to leave my side and kept nudging me with his paw and whining. I took him back inside, and started playing with him again. after about five minutes of this, he started licking me non stop. after about three or so minutes, I saw the flash of light, that means that I am getting a migraine. could he have predicted it for me, even before it struck? if so, how did he know

Hey all!
well we thought it best to get the pups earlier. we got one for me, and one for my nieces. mine is sound asleep beside me, in a box we have till we can get a bed, which will be tomorrow. he is the cutest little thing, but you guys probably already know that. mom and I gave him his first bath tonight, and I just have to say, I am glad mom helped, because he is so small, I was a bit scared of hurting him. he didn’t like the bath much, but after it was done and I dried him off, he got tired, so off to bed he went. he’s already woken up once, and it looks like the potty training is going well. I am not sure how much posts will be posted to this for awhile, but I gotta get him settled in, get him in to the swing of things, get him all the way potty trained Etc. anyway, I’ll be crashing very very soon, I am tired.

today I had a massive migraine. one that made me feel really shaky. well I was asleep. I woke up to the feel of something licking my face. and when I reached down, there was Julius, laying on my chest, licking my face to wake me up. my youngest niece had brought him in and laid him there for me. it is so nice to be woken up by a puppy! I got to spend time with him, and I know this much, I know for sure now, he is made for me! I can’t wait to get him in nine days! nine days and he’ll be mine forever and I can spoil him, like I did gypsy! granted, I still miss gypsy, but Julius has been helping me so much.

not much has been happening lately, but as usual I have not updated this in forever so I thought I better do it now. my pup will be coming on July fourth, and it feels as if it’s going so slowly! the MDA has not called yet, and I called to see what was going on. the person I talked to told me that they don’t know, because the people over the talent portion is a third party thing, so she told me “I know it’s frustrating, but I’m afraid you will have to wait.” I am not as patient as I seem to be, believe me, waiting is killing me! I rehearse everyday and hope I can do it, I pray I make it, because I do feel this is my heartsong. anyway, I’ll go for now.

today has been totally amazing! I went to a talent show that was held in my niece’s school, and loved every minute of it. when we got there people greeted me, I went to this school in kindergarten, and some of the teachers remembered me. one of the staff members pulled me aside and asked me to be a guest singer for the talent show. I was not expecting this, and at first said I was not prepared. however mom whispered to me,
“honey, I would do it.” and while I was unprepared, I went ahead and did it, because I felt like I needed the practice singing in front of crowds. these people are from my small town so I did not feel as intimidated by them. granted I was not a member of the show itself, but I gave it my best, and was surprised by the reaction I received after the song was over. I sang “you’ll never walk alone.” a lot of the staff thanked me for a great performance, and while my voice did crack at the start, I guess no one really noticed. I believe if they do this next year, I am going prepared, just in case I am asked again. oh and also, I will get to see my pup tomorrow! isn’t that awesome?

got to see my dog tonight. you guys, nothing is as moving is having a puppy, who’s eyes are just opening fall asleep in your arms, and cuddle up to you. the mommy was keeping a watchful eye on him, and I did not mind that. I even showed her that I was not hurting the pup. my neighbor and friend put the pup in my arms, and let me hold him for a few minutes. almost at once he cuddled up to me, and stopped crying. he lay in my arms, and kind of fell asleep, letting me hold him. when it was time to go, I didn’t want to hand him back, but he is not old enough to be taken away from his mother just yet, he is still nursing Etc. she told me she would try to bring him out tomorrow, let me hold him longer, let him bond with me. Julius is a precious gift, and it was as if he was meant for me.

I have some Exciting news, I am getting a new puppy in about 6 or 8 weeks. he is all black, except for two of his paws, which are white. I had fought to find a name, and mom and I talked about it, his name is Julius Windle. there are dogs named max, there are dogs named bubba, but none of them that I know of are called Julius. I fell in love with the pup, and the pup seems to like me. it’s as if it was made for me. I can’t wait to see him again, and I can not wait to have him in my house, and I can take care of him. I am not saying gypsy is replaced, I am not saying she is forgotten, but I feel happier since I got the dog. he is still with his mom, and will be there for 6 to 8 weeks, but I already clamed him. anyway, that is the new addition to our family.

as all of you know by reading my blog I have tried out for the MDA telethon. the thing is the videos are supposed to be viewed this month, but I have not gotten a call from anyone either to say I made it, or to say I didn’t. my question is, should I call to see if they got my video, or should I leave it alone and hope something happens? if I call I could be making myself look bad, making myself look like I am pushy, but yet if I don’t call I could be looking as if I don’t care one way or the other. I want to be on this, it would mean the world to me, but I don’t want to be to pushy either. to call or not to call, that is the question,one I wish I had an answer to.
