yo all, welcome to my world!

Well this weekend has been great! Went to see some friends and ate, (I kid you not) bear meat. That stuff is sooooooo goooood! Omg! I had it twice before when I was about 6 or so, and again at camp. Difference was that at camp and at the blind school, it was in a stew. This time, however, it was in a roast sort of. I can’t describe the taste really, all I can associate it with is like one of those roast beef things. But Omg I loved it. mom is somewhat hesitant but it really is not that bad. Now, I have got to think of rules for the group, and I am at a loss. Ever have those times when your mind just goes blank? That’s what is happening.

Hey all,
Just thought I would update my blog, I have not done that in awhile. Life has been somewhat hectic lately, been working on my group, and practicing for my audition video for the jerry Lewis telethon. Other then that though, not much has happened. My group is hopefully taking off, thanks to all the people who have helped. MR du Plessis is trying to get the site fixed up so we can use it to, and I am willing to help him with it. my Afrikaans is about the same, going slowly, but it’s better to take things such as this slow, and actually learn it, then to go to fast and not be able to retain what is being taught. I am far from fluent, however I refuse to give up on this adventure. It has been an amazing journey, and I know I have a long way to go, but with each thing I learn, it’s a step closer to fluency. Gotta go and get some sleep, I’ll try to write back soon.

I have made my blog look less cluttered, by putting all my intries in catogories. now it looks more like a website, and less like a cluttered mess. lol.

okay, here goes you guys, staying up all the way through the telethon now. getting tired, but there is no way in heck I’m giving up. look at how much I could lose, look at how much the MDA will lose, and I am going to try out next year, if I can get on, I can lend my voice to this wonderful cause as well. will I be nurvous? heck yeah! but will it be werth it? heck yeah!

I may not post that much on here for a bit, but I am getting ready for tomorrow. I have alot riding on this now, and if I don’t make it, I’ll let the MDA down. speaking of the MDA, I am making a catogory in here for them, explaining just what the MDA does, and how they help people. so, be on the look out for that. anyway, back to work I go, so see ya. I’ll be on later to get skype and update quitter.

well fokes, I really think I can learn this. I just wrote a whole sentance in afrikaans. yes, I was nurvous, but still, I did it. I need to get over this fear I have, and if I keep trying, and practicing, I think I’ll get there.
